I'd really love to see anything about Romano and Netherlands interacted while they both lived with Spain, or beyond! It doesn't necessarily have to be shippy, and I'd love seeing Netherlands trying to be a good influence (maybe at Belgium's request?) and failing miserably.

While the British Home Guard armed themselves with garden tools as weapons, the Americans bought fast cars and Thomas machine guns. Because of these, the Brits called them 'the gangsters'. They were surprisingly effective in wargames, even against the regular British army.

I am looking for a fic in which the personifications and the superheroes are living in two different universes.
In the hetalia universe, they have the superheroes just like we do - they exists in comics and movies and are part of the popular culture; Alfred and Arthur would both be very familiar with their (general) stories (how much Arthur is willing to admit is up to author!anon, XD); but, superheroes are not real.
And in the superhero universe (whichever you choose, Marvel, DC, MarvelXDC, subset of Marvel, subset of DC, etc etc), they would know national personification in a historical sense - Britannia, Columbia, etc etc.
Basically I just want a story in which somehow, these two worlds end up interacting with - maybe Alfred and Arthur travel to another universe, maybe the other way around, maybe they built a connecting portal. So we either get people gawking at "the United States of America" and "the United Kingdom" or we get people/countries gawking at Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman/Captain America/Iron Man/Thor... You get the idea...
