What I meant was:
So she plans out the 'transformation spell' with some friends BEFORE her parents drug her. Is the transformation a real spell or is that just the story her friends are going to tell everyone to cover for her disappearance?

(Also I want to use Poland as the friend/'sorcerer' because Liet as the snarky, super-competent, put-upon minion is delicious)
