Thanks for your feedback, anon. I'll be going into how Wales and England go from "absence of responsibility" to full-out pet play, why England wants pet play at all, and a bit about their relationship before this and why it's different/better than England's relationships with Scotland and Ireland. Hopefully that will help explain the characterisation a bit better - I'm well aware that England isn't his usual tsundere self while in "pet mode".
