Title is pretty self-explanatory (and I don't think anyone's asked this before). Anon grew up a huge American Girl doll addict and still has ALL her dolls and their various dresses/accessories. But the girls the dolls themselves were based on were so much more than just clotheshorses-they felt truly real, authentic people, living their lives throughout America's history.
So! Any of the girls:(though pre-European settlement Kaya and colonial!New Mexico Josefina probably wouldn't work with America, but if you COULD make it work that'd be awesome), interacting with America and touching his life as he's touching theirs.
Bonus: Felicity (just because she's still my favorite. Whyyyyyy were you discontinueddddddd-/cries) Bonus 2: Even decades later America still remembers them, and has some sort of keepsake in their memory. Bonus 3: America running into one of their female descendants and how they do and don't resemble their ancestor.
omg. okay I am interested in this and I haven't really paid much attention to AG stuff in a while, so I went on the site to research it and whatever, and! Other than discontinuing Felicity they also took away Kirsten and Samantha (whyyy she was like the most popular! they were all. my favs. AURGH.) and I am /quite/ displeased.
But yeah, so you want one of the girls to have been real? I'm gonna keep researching and stuff (to get a better feel for the stories, I never really got much deeper than the summary in the catalogue), and try to do something with this because it's a cute prompt!
