This is wonderful! The descriptions are wonderful - there's just something about hands that makes me shiver - and I love the interactions between the two. Especially the emphasis on Russia having to earn the right to remove Hungary's gloves by being good, and the history in her hands. And the comparison between her hands and his sisters'.

I'm so glad you liked and noticed the details. I've never written anything concerning hands in this way, but I can certainly see where you come from! Like, I guess I've never really thought about them too much, but now, in thinking about them, they really are something! They just hold /so much/... I thought that I got too sucked into the details, and sidetracked, at points, but I'm glad that it worked out well.
