I'd love to see a fic based on this article – http://althistory.wikia.com/wiki/Hitlers_World – basically a world where Nazi Germany won the war and the Great German Reich became the largest Empire to date. How the Main 8 would adjust to this new world order, if they do at all. Some snippets from the article that I would particularly like to see mentioned:
1)The Axis and Allies formally sign the Peace Treaty of Moscow which allows both sides who are left i.e. Germany, America and Canada to rule peacefully in their respective zones. However, relations between the two superpowers (Germany and the United States) remain bitter, and both struggle against each other in arms races, technology and military build-ups.
2)Jews, Homosexuals, Slavs, and Marxists/Communists have largely been exterminated, except for those who are kept as slaves and those who continue to fight in rumpled rebel armies. The citizens of the Third Reich enjoy extremely high living-standards and live in complete luxury; material needs are largely satisfied, as products are produced by the harsh slave labour.
3)Hitler never launched a major genocide against Western Europe like he did in the East, instead he decided to assimilate the Western European countries into the Greater Reich - not by directly annexing them but by Germanizing them. In France, German became the first and official language.
4)The British Empire truly came to an end in 1947. King George fled to Canada along with Winston Churchill. The Second Battle of Britain was the toughest war yet for the German Reich. Every citizen was demanded to shed blood for the final defence of the empire. The young, the weak the old and even women, Germany lost 850, 000 troops and Britain over one million.
Bonus – Annexed Nations of ‘non-Aryan/inferior’ races are used in gruesome experiments by human scientists. Ludwig and Gilbert are both horrified and disgusted when they find out. I’d prefer the victim to be Ivan, but it doesn’t have to be (I promise you my firstborn if it is, though).
