However, Japan is surprised to find that Prussia really is smart, especially when it comes to on-the-spot strategizing, and Prussia is equally surprised to find that not only is Japan strong, but he's actually rather ruthless in battle. These revelations end up massively improving their relationship, leading to a tentative friendship or even acceptance of their marriage.
