I've been trying to leave a comment for some time but something always gets in the way. I haven't been on this kink meme since my last comment, honestly. I'll leave a more coherent (And less rushed) review when A!Anon posts Arc 2 with Christmas break rolling around ; I should have some free time then. But until then please know that this fill is still absolutely wonderful in my eyes!
I wonder if any of Asia is still alive and kicking? What about Oceania?
Criticism though- The Arc kinda seemed to end prematurely to me, without any closure, but that could just be me. There really was nothing to signal "This arc has ended." That may be because I have no idea how the next arc is going to be; but yes, it seemed kinda chopped off in the middle (For me. Yeah. Can't speak for everyone.)
And Yes, Sealand. Don't go around using magic that may turn you into a monster. You're the main character. Don't go about destroying your soul, young man.
I was alerted to the fact that arc is the inappropriate terminology, and that they should actually be viewed as episodes. In any case, so far there will be thirteen episodes, but more might be added in the future. They won't all be the same length as this one, though.
I'm just fixing up the chapters, and then I plan on posting the entire first episode on FF. I will definitely keep everyone posted on when I begin Step 2.
The fates of more and more countries will be seen as the story goes on, don't worry.
I realise that the end does seem very abrupt, and this is something I really struggled with before posting. However, a new, short epilogue-like section will be added to the FF version of this chapter, which should alleviate this "incomplete" feeling. Or, at least, I hope it will.
Glad to see the OP has at least stuck around. Life has gotten in my way, too (considering I need to take this exceedingly long break), so I totally understand. I'm looking forward to more detailed reviews when I start posting on FF. I really appreciate input from readers, and I try to accommodate their opinions and ideas, but this isn't possible when the system isn't set up for feedback.

However, when you do deanon, no need to put spaces in the URL or anything - dreamwidth allows anon comments with URLs :)
