Anon has seen a lot of fics where Spain blows it with Romano for some reason and then has to win him back, but how about the opposite?

I'd really like for it not to be a Romano bashfest though - he really does like Spain. But his anger issues and his fear of his growing attachment (and of course the tsundere-ness) cause him to treat Spain badly and unintentionally sabotage the relationship.

Eventually Spain can't take it anymore and gives up on him, leaving Romano reeling and with a lot of soul-searching to do.

Whether he manages to make things up with Spain in the end or Spain moves on is up to the author.
