(A-Ah, please ignore the re: in the title of the last one ;__; Anon forgot about it.)
(PS. The name of the restaurant I used in this fic was based of Romano's character song. Any resemblance to real life places are a mere coincidence~)

"Ve~ Monika?"
The girl jolted slightly at the sound of her name. She turned to look at her date. "Y-Yes? Is something wrong, Feliciano?"
Feliciano tilted his head, still smiling, curl still bobbing up and down. "Why are you sitting like that?"
"...Like what?" Monika asked, fiddling her thumbs absent-mindedly.
"Like that." Feliciano replied, gesturing with his arms a little. "You know, so stiff and uncomfortable and stuff! You look like some sort of statue! And statues are okay, until birds poop on them, and that's really gross, and I don't want birds to poop on you, so you should really relax, because dates are supposed to be fun and relaxing, right, and you look really uncomfortable and-- aa! What if you aren't enjoying this? Do you hate me? Nonononono, please no, I promise I'll try to do better the rest of the date just please please please don't leave meee--"
Monika sighed, and decided to cut off before he ranted his vocal chords out. "Nein, Feliciano, I just simply am not used to... well... all of this. That's all." she explained, and almost smiled when Feliciano visibly relaxed.
"Ve~ Don't worry about it, relax!~" Feliciano smiled, his bouncy italian accent music to her ears. "Just be yourself! You look very beautiful as yourself!"
Monika's face turned pink, and she coughed awkwardly and hurriedly changed the subject. "S...So. You, asked France for advice on this date?"
Feliciano bounced on his seat. "Aaa, I guess? Ve~ He's really good with these kind of things so I asked him for his opinion on some stuff because I mean I know I'm already good at these things I wanted to make tonight special because it's been so so so long since I've actually been with someone I really lovelovelove on a date so I asked Francis for help on it and he told me that you'd probably be uncomfortable with fancy things so he told me to go with it like I usually do and tone it down so I did and I hope this isn't too boring and-"
Monika tuned out the rest of his blabber, letting it go through one ear and out the other. But then something echoed in her ear, and she turned to him again.
"Someone you really love? A while?" she asked, curiously. "I thought you go out on dates often."
Feliciano smiled. "Ve... You're right. But they're not with girls I really, really love. The last one was.. was a really, really long time ago."
Monika studied his expression. It was one quite unfamiliar to her. He was smiling, yes, but it looked sad and hollow and melancholic and dreamy, as if remembering something sad. She frowned. She didn't know why, but she didn't really like this expression.
"Who was your last one then?" she asked, before coughing slightly. "I mean... if I'm not being rude asking."
Feliciano looked down at his feet. "Ah... that.. I--"
"We're here."
Feliciano looked up, and grinned, all traces of former sadness gone, and he tossed the taxi driver some cash and threw the car door open, and held it open as she climbed out, unsteadily. He seemed excited, bouncing on his feet. She looked up towards the name, and immediately, something clicked in her mind. She slooowly turned to look at Feliciano, who looked all too eager to run into the restaurant.
"...Feliciano?"
"Veeee?~"
"Isn't this your brother's restaurant?"
She pointed towards the sign that said, quite clearly, "Buono Tomato".
Feliciano nodded wildly, and griiiiinned. "Yes! Now let's goooo~"
Monika sighed. Feliciano shone a big, wide smile at her. And then Monika turned back red and awkwardly stumbled after him. She really wasn't used to any of this.
