I'm not the OP, but I'm a Scot that can tell ya, the French are faaaar from being our BFFs. If anything, I think Scotland would be annoyed with France, for a number of reasons that I won't go into here on the meme. But yeah, the 'auld alliance' isn't what people think it was.
