Okay, I have an idea for USUK, but also how do the characters know about what happens in the other world(s)? (sorry if I'm bothering you with questions. I'm just wanting to make sure on things ^^; )
I decided to leave that up to the filler to decide. You can have the parallel universes crash into each other during a holiday with the characters meeting a lot more than just their 2P selves. Or, since England has magical powers, you can have a spell of his backfire and end up sending him and America through multiple universes.
These are just suggestions, though. Let your imagination run wild!

I couldnt help but think of the Family Guy episode where Stewies time hopper thing (anon hasnt seen the episode in a while XD) malfunctions and sends him and Brian to loads of differnt universes.
