“Oh god!” It was the only think America could think of. How could he have been so stupid not to notice? “Canada?”
“Hello America.” America couldn’t say anything. Of all the embarrassing things that could have happened to him, this had to be the worse. “That was such an interesting conversation. I see you got something from France after all.”
America’s face heated up immediately. “Yeah, I guess.” America tried to laugh, but he could even manage that.
“Canada I’m sorry,” America began. He needed to try and fix this. “I had no idea.” Next time he would make sure he had the right person. Not that he thought there would ever be a next time. This was just too embarrassing. He wouldn’t dream about trying it again.
“I tried telling you.” He had. America needed to listen better. He would never be able to look at Canada in the eye after this. If it got out, everyone would be making fun of him. “Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone.” Canada said, almost reading America’s thoughts.
America noticed a slight humor in the other’s tone. At least it didn’t sound like Canada was angry. “Thank you.” It was the only thing he could say.
“We’re still up for that game right?” America nodded, and then remembering Canada could exactly see him said that yes it was. Not that he would be able to concentrate on it. “America?”
“Yes?” America was afraid of what Canada had to say. Maybe he’d changed his mind. He wouldn’t want to be friends with him anymore.
“If you ever,” Canada stopped to take a quick breath, “want to try and do something like this again, I wouldn’t mind.
“Eh?” America would have dropped the phone right then. His mouth hung wide as he tried to think over what he’d just heard. “Canada?” the line was dead.
This had turned into the strangest (or greatest) day ever for him.
The phone rang again. America picked it up, it was England. “Bloody hell, what happened? I was waiting for you to call back.” America couldn’t help but laugh.
“It’s a long story.”

Although I'm left wondering if America can make three-way calls, because I'm pretty sure Canada would be cool with that, too. And England's England, so yeah! LOL
