I want to see one of England's less well-meaning fairy friends to be sick of America not being able to see them. So, she uses a forbidden spell to forcibly give him the Sight. But there is a reason this spell is forbidden. Not only is it excruciatingly painful while the person is gaining the Sight, it can, over time, lead to total blindness. Now England must help America deal with his newly gained "gift" as well as find a counter spell before America looses his sight entirely.

I swear I've read a story where America is forced to have Sight, except that the author claimed there are Hetalia notes that say America gets it for one minute every Halloween. Can't find it now..
It's all day, actually. America makes it really easy for England to scare him, since he can actually see supernatural stuff on Halloween.
(And everyone else gets it while they "visit England," which I take to mean being on English/British soil. ... And then they try to make themselves forget, I guess?)
Is it this one, Anon, where America had repressed the sight due to scaryass Native American magical creatures and then Canada and England force it back on him? It's different from this request but I thought it might be what you were thinking of.
