Summer stopped, blinking at the sudden realization. She growled and vanished in flurry of flames, leaving Winter with the Ancients. He smiled, pleasantly, “And she calls me possessive of my Vanya doll.”
“Uhm, Winter, if you don’t mind me saying so,” Remus prodded tentatively, still wary of the violent woman returning and leaving him with a new burn on his face-or somewhere worse, “The child is more oft than naught with Yao and Aurel’s grandchildren, isn’t he? And that funny thing over seas.”
“America, Remus.” Aurel sighed, rubbing at his forehead, “And please do not mention that…thing being anywhere near my grandchildren, ever again.”
“Oh, come off it, you lot.” Winter was pouting again, his arms crossing as he slouched in his spot, glowering at the three, “He’s absolutely harmless! You know he hates interacting with people and yet you scorn him for attempting to make friends! You’re all very cruel, you know!”
The three shared another look-somehow, the German ended up being the one that had to be the voice of reason as Torvald promptly exited the scene and Remus turned on his best puppy expression that said he didn’t want to do anything. Aurel glowered and slowly met the glower, “Winter, you know the child is scared to death of you, right?”
“Really? He always greets me with hugs and smiles. Did the definition of ‘scared’ change recently?” The general quirked a brow and Aurel refrained a face palm moment.
“He greets everyone that way, Winter. His sister included, though that hardly ends well for him.” He wracked his brain for a moment, “Winter, if he is indeed so loyal, why does he desire the sunflower fields so much?”
“That? That’s from that silly American thing and your friend.” Winter gave something that resembled a scoff, waving it off, “Besides, the sunflower is a sign of strength—always striving to survive, to push through to the sun—.”
“Yes, to the sun. Through the snow. He’s trying to move past you, Winter.”
“Oh, please. I do not block the sun. If anything, that’s Spring’s field of expertise. Honestly, the amount of rain he can give anyone. And Fall, too! I swear, if I didn’t have my little Vanya landlocked, Fall would have bombarded him with hurricanes by now! You know she would—…oh dear.” He paused, “…Fall is looming over my little Vanya now, isn’t she? …How dare she!”
Like Summer, he left abruptly, vanishing in the swirl of snow. Aurel and Remus exchanged wary looks.
“…I think you just sacrificed the poor child to an early winter.” Remus drawled, actually looking rather worried.
“…So it would seem I have. …Perhaps next time we should have Father talk to him?” Aurel sighed, “Remind me next time he is here?”
“New Years, usually, isn’t it?”
“…Translation, you will forget.” The German rolled his eyes at the unabashed grin and shook his head. Father Time it was then.…Why yes, I do believe this means I will be doing a follow up in which Father Time and General Winter will have talking time. …Or fawning time? I see Father Time as a senile old bastard that always goes on about how ‘Oh, I remember when…’ about all the nations. …Hopefully this will come quicker than this part and I’m so sorry again, OP orz

Got to say I really liked the way how you were capable of juggling so many people interacting at once. I've always had problems with that... fail I have to say that the way how you portray the General, is so...sweet, that I think I want to hug him even if I'd probably turn into a human icicle.
Can't wait to see what Father Time has to say about this ;)

As for the hugs--I'd imagine it's more of an attempt to hug and is really just one of those quick "Oh, it's good to see you" type hug-autorelease hugs XD or he uses Latvia as a buffer, which might also explain why the poor thing can't stop shaking~
Anywho~ Father Time should be up tomorrow evening/early Wednesday morning, depending on whether or not I have to work ;3 Thank you again, too! *huggles go here!*
