Russia's severe mood whiplashes have me as confused as England and as horny as him. Is he like that with...everyone? Wow. I meant, WOW. And Prussia really likes it too, he.

How could Russia know, about his-- penchant-- for this? He couldn't have been talking to France. Could he?

What did you think they did during the Invasion of Russia, Artie? xDDDDDD
a-also, h-holy shit, I never m-mentioned I have a HUGE breath play kink, did I? Did I? *faps*

England wondered if, after all the messed up sex they'd had over the years, they didn't all have a little bit of a weakness for this. He thought of France again, and groaned.

YES. Oh, fuck, yes. I believe all the nations are twisted sexually and have very wide and open apetites and kinks, and the Europeans take it up to eleven. That's why America, in all his youthful innocence, has only tried to have sex with them once. And he ran away screaming; I don't know whether he did it before or after, thoughXD
And I love every mention France gets. Just saying ♥

“Prussia is being very rude. Don't you think Prussia is being rude?”

Clearly, you don't know Prussia very well, Ivan. That is his usual state of mindXD

Answering here to you ^^

I actually was going for France there. Like, they've kissed, just not as allies. But it actually seems more poignant if they haven't been kissing at all (Norman Conquest: I see Normandy as an OC, since s/he has so much Viking in him/her: What do you think?) If I deanon for this, I'll change that line, I think.
Ah, that makes sense. Allies and enemies kiss differently during treaties, mmm? That makes me want to read a fic about the Entente written by you ^^

I don't think Normandy was an OC, just a past self of France, going with your theory. Mainly because a)it's canon -that's around the time France takes care of Chibirisu and tries to put him in a dressXD; and b)it's so so good for their personal relationship! ^^ *shameless FrUK shipper is shameless*

What about you? Would Treaty of Paris hotness be ruined by inclusion of girl!Portugal?
Are you kidding? HAWTempires FTW! (though I usually make Portugal a male, because in my headcanon he's Spain's twin)

I tend to think that a nation-tan develops when the people start to think of themselves as a nation. Thus, Palestine has a personification, even though it's not officially a country right now, but the EU doesn't, even though it's an official entity (although, I'm not the one in Europe, you tell me).
I completely agree. This allows us to have an Israel-tan going around Europe in the Middle Ages and mistreated horribly.

As for the EU, while it makes more sense if there isn't, I love to think there's a little girl (name Europa) fathered by France and Germany running around and being a snobbish pestXD. I try to justify this on account of there being a strong sense of Europe, of being the Old World and the land of lost empires, here. My extense headcanon for EU was discussed the Phantom Touch's reviews with the author...if I find it around, I'll link you, if you're interested ^^

I agree with your thoughts on France (and I suppose Gallia was a past incarnation of him?). I think England has to appear before the Norman conquest because he definitely suffered personally the Danish vikings; but then again, I squeed so hard when I imagined that England appears as a consequence of France's presence in the land...the cuteness! =^:^=

Btw: Do you want to be my wife history beta? I would super appreciate it!
W-wow, I...I don't know what to say. I'd be honoured. I've never done this before, though, I must warn you. And English is definitely not my main language; and I live in another continent/time zone. But if you're ok with all this, of course! I...I really love all your headcanon so far, it's very interesting. What would you want me to do, exactly? *is a noob at this*

Russia headcannon: I actually see him as being pretty empathic-- doesn't he seem weirdly sensitive sometimes? He really does want people to be happy. He just has NO IDEA how to make that happen (and as such tends to hurt a lot of people instead [USSR in a nutshell?]) Except in bed, he does know what to do, so he's really good at adapting to what the people around him want. England wants big and safe, he's big and safe; Prussia wants dominating, he's dominating. The reason he comes off as so bipolar here is that he's trying to adjust to two different people (oh man, the Entente...) The pain thing he just mixes in where he feels like it, because he's such a masochist himself.

OH MY GOD breath play kink. Guh.

America and Europe: OH MAN YES. We have this kind of weird infatuation with you guys, but culturally you do all this weird backwards stuff... all of this riding bicycles and going to the beach naked and not shaving your armpits nonsense xDD. I always picture America, when he hangs out in Europe, having NO idea how much historical tension there is under the surface (because Europe's kinda all the same, right?), and innocently saying all these really infuriating things... [note: just writing ABOUT America, I had to edit out the word "stuff" about six times]

I'm totally with you about France being Normandy being good for their relationship! "Good" in the making it way more angsty and fun for us way. But Aquitaine and Toulouse would be so pissed if we let Normandy have all the fun xD. My headcannon tends to be that France during that period was still a motsly-landless teenager; he was emerging because the idea of a unified France had started to take root in people's minds, but he was still kind of being pushed around by his vassal states (although I can totally see him being insufferably smug to England about the whole Norman thing, since England was technically part of his kingdom at that point)

Yes, I definitely see Gallia as past-France, Hispania as past-Spain, Lusitania as past-Portugal (I like the imagine Galicia as a different entity from both of them, because OMG THE FEMSLASH), Germania as past-Germany, etc... Even though I know the borders changed and stuff over the years, all of these nations owe their current borders/senses of identity to Rome, it seems to me.

England and becoming a nation: My current thought is that he came into existence around the beginning of the tenth century, because that's when the first attempts at unification took place (although he probably holds memories from Britannia and all of the Seven Kingdoms). But he wasn't really taken seriously by the Kingdoms until after the Norman invasion, so between that and the Plantagenets, he really does owe his existence to France!

EU: Omg, I want your headcannon! I love this Europa idea-- I'm sure she just pisses the hell out of England on so many levels xDDD.

Beta-itude: So, the thing is, I'm a biology major! Everything I know about history outside of Latin America comes from Wikipedia xD (I'm sketchy on politics, too: like, I wrote this one fic with an Ireland!OC, but I mis-scanned the wiki article and didn't realize she should have been part of the EU ><). I also have only ever seen the anime, and only once, so there's a lot of stuff I don't remember (Um, who's Chibirisu?). So! I'm generally pretty good about checking my own grammar and spelling, but if you ever had some free time and wanted to fact-check me, I'd be super super grateful <3.

Empire!porn: I see where you're going with Portugal and Spain-- but, I think making her a girl would give that whole Declining Empire thing a whole bunch of extra weight given the societal view on women at the time... Hetalia fanfic addresses sexism!

That's all from me; thanks so much for another lovely review--
