There is no particular place we want your to post your request except somewhere where we can see it. Even if two more fills get posted after the one you commented on, if the one you commented on was new when you requested, I wouldn't worry about it.
I've been assuming that people request the pairing on my fills because they want me to write it, if possible. No one has a monopoly on a certain pairing and we'll get doubles eventually, though. And I read all of the comments, so if someone requests something on a fill that's not mine I might end up doing it. Eg, I think I stole USUK from someone, but they don't care because they can just do another USUK fill.
Since I've already seen your France/Germany request and said I would do it, it's taken care of... though that shouldn't hold my fellow fillers back, of course.
PS, Personally I think that anyone but me should try to tackle things with China in them. So thank you for not requesting that on my fill because I already feel bad about not being able to write Netherlands/Denmark.
I can help out a little so writeranon doesn't have to do everything /o/ I can do Netherlands/Denmark, in fact. And I planned some Netherlands/Canada too... I can't do poly, though.
If you specifically want one from me, you should probably post in mine (which will be posted in the same format as these) as I'm notoriously bad for not getting to read everything, even if I like the pairing. I like it, it's just...I get so distracted! /ADHD
