It doesn't sound that good at all in French, at least to my American ear, which is exactly the joke I was trying to make. I mean, I'm sure if I was French it wouldn't be that funny but it is one of the least romantic things I can think of. XD Except there was also "my pig", but it was feminine, and also one that mean "my little turd", which I didn't want to have to bother to explain.
