Maybe our definition of "friend" varies? Notice how I mentioned 4 of the 6 you did. I can't remember much interaction between America and Estonia or with Lithuania (aside the strips about Lithuania working for him). And, IMHO, getting along is not the same than being friends. The general impression I got from the strips is that most nations find America too loud and self-centred and don't really like the guy.

Can you point me to the strips in which most nations find America too loud and self centered? I know England and Canada have complained before, so maybe we have some new strips now?

As far as I remembered, Cuba, Russia and Spain are the ones who dislike America in canon.

As I said, it's a general impression from the complaining about his plans and stuff. Germany usually looks exasperated by him, too. As I said, I don't see him having a lot of friends, he's always seems to be spending his leisure time with the same people.

I don't remember a strip in which Germany is exasperated by specifically America. I do remember him yelling at everyone during the world meeting; is that the strip you are referring to or am I missing some strips again lol?

Usually it's America the on with the ideas that derail meetings. And, as others have said, it's in the characters' notes.

I thought

the joke is Germany is exasperated by everyone: Prussia, Austria, North Italy, South Italy, etc..

Not that I think Germany and America are best buds, but if Germany yelled at him = these two couldn't get along, then Germany is probably friendless and England should not be American's friend at all.

to be fair, the OP was talking about people that America gets along with, which I agree might not necessary equals friends.
