The Spanish Civil War has just finished and Romano pays a visit to Spain because he's worried because he has nothing else to do and confronts a very wounded and weak Spain. Please, remember Italy was involved with the Nationalist side so I want to see conclict there. Preferably some sad and heartbreaking sex happens at the end with Romano being very careful with Spain, paying lots of attention to him.

I've seen fics where he's interacting with modern prime ministers or Churchill, but I haven't seen many with other prime ministers. So I'd like to request him working with a historical one - they don't necessarily have to have called the PM so if you wanted to write about Cromwell or someone like that, that'd be awesome!
