The Faerie Queen was hopeful on her intervention. Hopeful that Arthur wouldn’t notice, and hopeful that her spell was just alright. Somewhere in her heart, she also wished for the American dope’s (as she would usually refer him) welfare. She had a nagging feeling in her chest that it would be rough for him, but she believed in him anyway. She wasn’t even sure if she did the right spell, or the right thing for the two English-speaking nations. She was hoping against hope that what she did was for the best, and that Arthur wouldn’t kill her if he would find out.

As she watched Arthur still rooted on his spot, a wave of instense insecure feelings overwhelm her. She knew she can sense her friend’s emotions in its thickest, rawest form. She looked melancholic, wanting to reach out to him, yet she knew she wasn’t the one he needed. She saw how Arthur hung his head and brought his hand to his face.

In his rare moments of vulnerability, she observed the conflicting emotions on England’s body as she felt them run through her. The green-haired faerie gazed plaintively, seeing the determined look on his face, as he forced himself to focus on his work instead of the latest argument. He left the living room to proceed to his study.

The Faerie Queen clasped her hands together and whispered in her language a wish to send good luck to the dope who’s currently stuck in another timeline.
