The story of the city upon a Hill epilogue

_Epilogue_

Selu sighed, really how did she find herself in this mess? She looked at the crazy drunk English man as he danced around with a bottle in each hand and yelled out “I’ll win and they’ll go hungry!” Any other day she’d be filled with rage but today she was just aggravated at the man that kept her tied. She really couldn’t feel too much anger for someone who said they were the spirit of Hungary (It’s a place too? She had no clue he kept switching between hunger and Hungary) while making a total fool of himself. She chuckled when she remembered waking up to him rolling around on the cave floor yelling something about ‘stop the world from spining’ and ‘it spins around the sun…no wait the other way.’ He was so strange but still… Selu pulled at the bonds and sighed again, he was great and tying knots.

“For a drunkard you really know how to tie people up.” England glared at her and if Selu could see in the dark she’d see a bright red blush spread from his ears to his neck. He then raised shaking finger, and opened his mouth to reply before a cacophony of sounds interrupted him. He frowned and went outside to see what it was. Unfortunately for him it was cheerfully sunny and when the light and the noise continued England quickly went down on the floor rocking and yelling about his headache.

“I escaped to he- I came here and got drunk to escape this turmoil not make it worse!” And it was getting worse. Crow swooshed in and began to peak his head.

“ARRRGH!!” Selu couldn’t help but smile and then laugh from the mouth of the cave as more crows descended upon him dropping berries and small rocks on the man’s head yelling about evil spirits and his death. She was quickly freed as the crows peaked the rope to death, returned to her people who had a great celebration, and made sure the land was fertile and the corn grew for another year.

That was the last time God allowed Selu to come to Earth in her human form. It was for the best; she was growing sick and old and it was for her own safety after all (and though she refused to admit it she had grown less aware of her land as the white man took it over, a numbness taking over parts of her limbs). Instead when she descended upon the land she came down as spring and quickly became a different personification all together. She was okay with it though because now she could always be one with her native land and watch over her native people while also traveling the earth without anyone telling her she could not live where she wanted too or pushing her back. The Earth became her child and she loved it because she had enough love to give for all.

A/N: The reason she control breezes and such is because Native Americans put so much emphasis on nature so Native America can control the nature found in her land too which is why she was able to become spring.

Kelowna is either a tribe or a place so I don’t think it’s an actual name for a baby but that’s okay…she needed a real strong name and saw knew his animal would be a bear so she gave him that name. The bulling continued but now it’s a bit less onesided!

Umm their not exact due to me taking creative liberties and such…hey Hetalia isn’t exactly one hundred percent accurate either. Lolz

You really need more self-confidence, authoranon! This is a really good story and I love you for including Native America and both of the twins in it. Thank you for finding time to fill the prompt ♥

Native!Anon is always happy to see a Native America story. :)

Pagan!Anon is also ecstatic to see that Selu somehow became the personification of Mother Earth...

You have the admiration of this anon.
