Climbing into the bed was a strange feeling. It was nice and big and warm like Italy had said, but it was odd to think that he was in the same bed as Romano. It was probably the most intimate thing they had done so far. Once again, he couldn't help but wonder what he should do next. Was it okay to just go to sleep, or should they talk about something first? Should he get closer? When would they have sex?

“Fuck, your toes are cold. That had better be because you just walked here. If it's going to be like this with you every time, I'm not having it.”

“I could start wearing socks to bed.”

“Do that.”

It was quiet for a moment. “Okay, so what's our next step?” Prussia asked.

“What step?”

“I mean, what's going to happen next? I only have relationships with people who are just as awesome as me, so it's been a while. My skills with this might be a little outdated. But not much.”

“I don't know. After the previous fuck-ups, I guess it would be nice if things went smoothly for a while, but I'm not holding my breath. Just... If there's some problem, we should probably try to solve it together instead of the stupid solo stuff that almost ruined everything.”

“Sure, I can do that. Can you promise that you won't dump me without hearing me out if I do something really stupid?”

“That goes without saying, idiot.”

“If I'm being completely honest, no it doesn't.”

“Fair enough,” Romano said with a pout. “But you're going to have to promise me one thing, too. I say a lot of things when I'm angry, but I don't usually mean them. Just tell me if some shit I say bugs you because I don't actually want to hurt you.”

“Haven't I been doing that already?”

“Yeah, but I'm just making sure because you're so stupid!”

Prussia laughed and reached out to turn off the light on the nightstand. He leaned closer to Romano and enjoyed the feeling of him not pulling away from his touch.

AN: And that's the end of the plotty part of the story. I feel like I need to return to the prompt somehow, so the final part will be all about them trying to act out something Romano wrote. Let's see if they'll manage...

Awwwww, this part was so cute! So cute so cute so cute! I love that they're both so awkward and things just didn't smooth out magically. And how Romano worked so hard to impress his guests...he's such a cutie.

(Did you remembered my comment about certain foods being better the day after there?)

Veneziano, you sneaky thing you<3 As usual, I love everybody's characterization, and I'm happy that you didn't go with either Spain or Romano being all depressed and pining in unrequited love but they're both with somebody who makes them happy.

And the final exchange made me day. Look at them, all trying to be mature adults and solving things with their words! D'awwwwwwww.

That was so sweet. And had so many funny lines! I especially liked the part where Prussia thought about Germany and Italy in the kitchen and decided that being a clean freak probably wasn’t the best way to go. And the little touch with the neighbor/shop owner in the morning. And their conversation in bed at the end of the chapter was very them.

The descriptions of driving in Italy made laugh (and brought back memories…)

Even though the plot is winding down, I’m looking forward to the next part :)

Great Scott, this is going to end soon, such a pity! I'm really addicted to this fill and it will be bad to see it end, especially since the plot is what I love the most when I read fanfic. Still the kiny part is...Well, very very welcome :P

About this part, it's full of amazing scenes. Romano saying he's sorry for not giving Prussia a chance melted my heart, and the reference about Germany having too much coffee made me laugh. The same goes for the rinde on Romano's Vespa!
Well, I can't quote the whole chpater back to you, but maybe Romano (un)organized way of cooking was the best part for me :)

i don't want this story to end anytime soon! you are writing something really nice and with deep feelings, i'm really in love with your carachters!
i'm not OP but i'd say to not worry about the original prompt but keep writing this wonderful fanfic as you feel it!
you're doing a great job!
