Personally, I've always thought that if he painted a beauty mark on his butt cheek, I wouldn't be able to tell his face apart from his ass.

I will leave more coherent comment later, but for now I just want to say that this may very well be the most wonderful, fantastic line I have ever read in my life.

Sorry if this is disjointed, I’m a little tired…

I really liked that you explored the north vs south identities. It crossed my mind once, early on in Hetalia that it was odd that N. Italy is the one emphasized when most people seem to associate Italy with the south. So when I saw a whole conversation exploring it, I was excited that it wasn’t just me! Love the idea that it’s a conscious strategy on Romano’s part.

And the bit about why Prussia is so messy (especially “I taught him how to polish his boots and keep his musket clean, but he took all that too much to heart”) was such a great detail.

Your last line about Prussia feeling through the heartbeats of his men is really close to a headcanon of mine so I was delighted to end on that note!

Anyway, I'm loving this fill and I always get excited when I see it updated on the fills list :)
