Feliciano watched him leave, before sitting down and giving himself another scoop of gelato. "Ve... poor fratellone... He's not as mean as he sounds, Ludwig... He'll like you soon enough, I'm sure..." The Italian smiled, seeming as if he was talking more to himself then to the ex-plant, who was still staring at Feliciano.
When the Italian turned to look at him he was met with the German's stern face, and he let out a shriek. "BROTHER! BROTHERRR! HELPPPPPPPPPPP!"
Ludwig was broken out of his haze, wincing at the shrieks coming from the smaller man. "H-hey! What's wrong?"
"V-ve," Feliciano calmed down, because Ludwig wasn't making that scary face anymore, and he was worried about him, so he probably didn't know he was even making a scary face in the first place. "N-nothing... You just scared me..." He took a bite of his gelato, sucking on the spoon with a forlorn expression that made the German's heart ache.
"S-sorry." The word tumbled from his lips before he even had time to think over what it meant. He was even more thankful for the new vocabulary than he was before.
Feliciano sniffled, "It's okay..." He gave a small smile, looking up at the sky. "Ve, I've got to head home soon... The sun's starting to go down!"
Ludwig blinked, looking up at the sky. The sun was indeed starting to slip behind the buildings built upon the grand canal. "Here," Feliciano hurriedly stood and started to scoop several spoonfuls of gelato into a cup, passing it to Ludwig.
"It's for free! Thanks for keeping me company today, Ludwig! I really needed it! Ve, especially since my flower wasn't here today!" His large, chocolate brown eyes twinkled a bit at the memory of his flower. He wondered where it had gone to, and if anyone had stolen it... Or if it really had died...
The Italian rubbed his eyes at the thought. Ludwig stared up at him, opening his mouth to say something. The words couldn't find his lips, though, and he sat there on the ground with his mouth open, trying to wonder why he wasn't speaking the words his mind thought so clearly. I'm the flower! I am! I didn't leave! And I most certainly didn't die!
He closed his mouth, wondering if he had forgetten how to speak, watching as Feliciano put away his things.
"W-well... Good bye, Ludwig! And good night!" The brunette smiled brightly, "Stay safe on your way home, m'kay~?" Feliciano stopped, holding his things in his arms. "... This..." He giggled sheepishly, "This is usually the part where I kiss my flower goodnight..." He smiled, looking down at the ground, and Ludwig opened his mouth again, quickly, trying to speak the words he was thinking. I'M the flower! Kiss ME! Because he hadn't gone to sleep without his Italian's kiss goodnight before... not since he had met him at least... The thought of sleeping without the kiss seemed so... wrong.
Feliciano glanced over at him, "S-sorry, I know that sounds kind of silly!" He laughed, though, no, it didn't seem silly to the small Italian at all. He felt it was perfectly natural. The brunette noticed that Ludwig was still staring at him - he didn't seem as if he was going to speak any time soon... "Uhm... Good night, again, Ludwig~!" And with that, the Italian left, leaving behind a very perplexed German.
Here I was thinking I needed something adorable to read and then I saw this again and remembered from way back and omg, so cute <3
Feliciano tilted his head to the side and Ludwig practically melted at the cuteness, because, oh, sun, his Italian was so cute. He briefly wondered if any other flower had an Italian as cute as his.
Oh my gosh! You’ve actually updated!!! I am so happy, and this part is so cute, I feel sad for Ludwig though… But soon time will come when Feli would kiss him. So cute!!! I will wait penitently for next chapter, even it took another year to write it ;)

Ludwig stayed awake until the sun dipped low enough to where he could only see the brilliant rays. He yawned and clung to a lamp pole, closing his eyes tiredly. He wished he could call for that fairy whenever he needed him. Because he really need to ask what had happened... Was that normal for all humans?
He didn't have much time to ponder on it... seeing as how he had fallen asleep within a few seconds, dreaming of an Italian with a rebellious curl, large doe eyes, and a smile that never seemed to fall out of place.
the last part for this day in the story, and part 3 - thought I'd give you guys atleast this since I won't be updating until either late tonight/tomorrow. 'Glad to see I still have some readers. ; w ; I missed y'all. <'3 Also, I know this may seem quite rushed. I'll try the best I can to slow it down!
