I don't think it's odd at all--I've seen more than one story where it seriously caused me a stab of pain to see someone like France or England freely admit, "If you were Canada, I wouldn't dare think of doing this, but because it's you, it's fine if you're harmed." Really, it is a dick move, and I'm glad you're making a point of it, because I was getting caught up in the "Well, I want to see America get revenge, but rape is hard to comment over..." aspect.

It's rather heartwrenching to read write about the pain that they inflict on each other.

And it's a bit sad to see how it's the 'in' thing to hate/blame America for everything (like in the 2nd, 3rd? page of the gangbang!comic).
