Thanks, and thanks for reading! I'm glad the "ah" bit worked out-- stream-of-consciousness style stuff like what I was going for can be very hit-or-miss, and knowing that didn't read too randomly, well...phew! The same with Conquistador!Spain. Reeeeeally hit-or-miss.
