It phrases the situation so accurately and heartwrenchingly, and it almost makes Lithuania's decision seem worse, knowing that this is Hetalia and not the history itself so at least he could have let himself go to Poland who actually loved him.
tl;dr you can have all of my children, all my internets and my undying love, gratitude and respect, anon. ;_; Please write more fic with Liet. Even if you haven't written any fic in a while, if this is anything to judge by, you shouldn't let that stop you, at all. The meme needs more fic like this. <3
