The next day was a fury of paperwork as Alfred found himself being pulled from one meeting to the next as more and more ideas were brought up, and old ideas were hashed out for clarity.
Things like,
Who was going to pay for that?
Where was the border line for another park in D.C.?
…kept coming and coming forcing Alfred to spend long hours at the office working and re-working bills, trying to figure everything his boss had no time for (or little skill for). He had to visit the places designed for the parks, and the placement of several recycle bins multiple times again and again until he tired of the both the places and the color blue.
He had to tour restaurants and pass pamphlets about the new regulations starting up, and sit in at several council meetings here and there as finally…the first bill was signed into law. With a tired slump he fell into bed, never noticing the strange patters on his windows or on his ceiling as he slept.
This is cute. But please don't give the political parties personifications! *cries* They're bad enough already, now that corporations are people as well..
Um, I meant the actually people, but I couldn't remember their names (I was really in a hurry when I wrote this), so no, there are no personifications for the political parties. Just plain ordinary people who like to argue.
