Changeing one of the main characters in the request is a major change, so I'd go with using the "anything goes" prompt, but perhaps list the original prompt as inspiration.

I've been writing some fills lately, but I've felt kind of sluggish. I want to play a bit of a game.

Apologies if this sort of thing isn't allowed, but hear me out first.

I love USUK/UKUS, as do many.

I would like to invite my fellow anons to post links for up to three prompts from any part of the kink meme with that pairing that they personally want to see filled. Once fifteen total prompts are posted, I'll choose at least one to fill.

This isn't a game about favouritism or winning, I just want to make someone, somewhere happy. There are a lot of prompts sitting on the shelf, sad and neglected, and I was hoping with something like this maybe I can help work down that number while specifically targeting fills that have interested parties. The only reason I chose fifteen was so that I could give a good number people interested a chance to post their desired prompts.

Please don't post more than one comment with requests. That would be indescribably mean. :(

This doesn't violate any rules that I'm aware of (and I've been semi-active here for three years next month), and it sounds like a really nice thing to do! I'm afraid USUK isn't my cup of tea (heh), but I wish you well!

The prompt was about humans being different from their nation personas. In other words, not all Americans are loud and obnoxious and not all Englishmen are polite and refined.

I remember this being requested and filled around the end of Part 25, but I could be wrong. Somehow I can't seem to find it on the fills (or finished fills) list. Can anyone help me find it, or knows what happened to it?

I'd like a light-hearted little fill where America and England are stuck somewhere like an airport or a restaurant, and they overhear two humans interacting. The only thing is, the humans consist of an Alfred-like bouncy, cheerful, geeky Englishman and an Arthur-like book-loving, studious, irritable American. I mean, not every Briton is like England, and not every American is like Arthur.

Doesn't need to have US/UK pairing, though I ask if it ISN'T USUK, don't mention any other pairings for either of them.

Bonus: Canada and a super-obnoxious Canadian person.

Like if you are looking for specific fics with X subject and only with X character vs All fics with vampires . I would get how the latter should probably not be requested but what of the former?

I think you can ask for anything. I see no reason why one couldn't even ask for all the best vampire fics on the meme, regardless of the characters. Go for it! :D

1. Orphaned nations (human AUs are ok) or adoptions. I read one of little homeless Russia+sisters that broke my heart but it was super short and now I can't find more. ):

2. Something where Alfred shows his skills (what said skills are well as long as its not just a sex fic doesn't really matter... I just like smart America ).

One more thing (sorry!) please only rec completed fics or fics that have been updated fairly recently (I totally count 2013 as recently btw or if the author has a "good track record" for finishing fics). Sorry guys but I keep running into "dead end" fics.

Has it ever happened that your fill gets absolutely no comments, not even from the OP? Does that discourage you from filling again, or continuing the story if it's a multi-chapter fill?

I don't care about comments outside the meme but here my main motivation for writing something is to make the OP happy. If nobody comments I figure the fic was a failure and won't write more.

It depends. It's definitely discouraging if it's a oneshot fill. If it's a multichapter story I've gotten attached to, that I'm a few chapters into, I'll just keep writing it. I'm getting some joy out of writing it, if nothing else, though I'll take a lot longer with updates.

If it's the first part of a multichapter with no comments, especially if it's a SHORT first chapter, I'll definitely try at least one or two more updates? I've learnt that sometimes people need to see where you're taking a story before they trust themselves to/have enough information to comment on it.

There are a bunch of reasons OPs might not respond to comments, so I wouldn't bank on them. Lots of people do not keep track of their prompts.

Or maybe the fill just wasn't to their taste. (I'm certainly not going to reply to something filled in a way that I dislike, even if I did prompt it.)

I don't expect any replies to my fills.
