Help! I Can't Language Good!

Do you need some help with another language?
Do you know how to read / write a language that isn't modern English, and want to help your fellow anon?
If so, this is the place for you.

How this works:

You don't need to be anon when you are offering language aid.
When offering language aid, post a comment saying what language you will helping out with
- Put the language you want to help out in in the subject line
Only one language per thread please. "I can help out with French and Vietnamese," for example is wrong. French and Vietnamese should go into two separate comments.
If you are requesting spelling, semantic or grammar aid in another language you must remain Anonymous.
You may post a comment requesting language aid, providing you do it in anon mode and there isn't already a thread going on for that language.
If there is already an aid thread for your desired language going, don't start a new comment asking for help unless you posted to that existing thread, and haven't received a response in 7 days
Please stick to the topic at hand (language aide). This isn't the place for chit chat.
If you have had experience with a particularly good online language resource that actually works than feel free to link it here as a reply to the first comment.
- In the subject line, state what language it is and try to describe what the resource does.
- Links to resources go in the comment area.
No pimped out fonts or embedded videos are allowed. They will be deleted.
Just a note. If you do have phrases in other languages in your fills, it's only polite to include a translation in English at the bottom of your fill somewhere.

Ah well, the context of the whole fic is that Netherlands and Canada are having sex and Canada's a bit put off that Netherlands is being a bit too dominating.

If it's in a situation where one person is being stubborn and the other one's saying 'come on, don't be like that' 'Kom op, niet doen...' would work better.

I THINK that would work better, it's something like.

Canada doing his thing, Netherlands: come on, do so and so, Canada ignores, Netherlands: Kom op, niet doen...

Does that work?

Just with the endearments, what do they mean? (lol) for translation sake, and also, how would you say 'my *Dutch endearment*' to each of those?

If he's being like 'come on canada, don't be lame by ignoring me', he could say 'Kom op, doe nou niet zo flauw'. It's like come on, don't be a partypooper or something.

they mean like sweetie, darling, honey... I can't really translate them, some of 'em are pretty stupid and I wouldnt'know how to. You'd say 'm'n snoepje' which is literally 'my sweetie'. 'M'n lief' is 'my sweetheart'. 'M'n schattebout' is... possible with a my __ situation, but preferably not. The rest, you can't really say 'my' in front of them without it sounding like you'r emaking fun of the other party.

Ok! So just checking, it'd be something like

'Let's go on, m'n snoepje'
or
'Let's go for a drive, m'n lief'
or
'Let's do this, schattebout/honnepon/rolmops'

Hmm, not really. If you want less cheesy stuff, though, I'd go for stuff like 'm'n lief', 'schat', 'lieverd'. First 2 work with 'm'n', last one doesn't. Those sound sincere, though the first one is a little more... romantic than the other two. More often used by young people.

Ok so I guess I'll go for m'n lief and m'n schat.
