Help I need Language!

Help! I Can't Language Good!

Do you need some help with another language?
Do you know how to read / write a language that isn't modern English, and want to help your fellow anon?
If so, this is the place for you.

How this works:
  • You don't need to be anon when you are offering language aid.

  • When offering language aid, post a comment saying what language you will helping out with
    • Put the language you want to help out in in the subject line

  • Only one language per thread please. "I can help out with French and Vietnamese," for example is wrong. French and Vietnamese should go into two separate comments.

  • If you are requesting spelling, semantic or grammar aid in another language you must remain Anonymous.

  • You may post a comment requesting language aid, providing you do it in anon mode and there isn't already a thread going on for that language.

  • If there is already an aid thread for your desired language going, don't start a new comment asking for help unless you posted to that existing thread, and haven't received a response in 7 days

  • Please stick to the topic at hand (language aide). This isn't the place for chit chat.

  • If you have had experience with a particularly good online language resource that actually works than feel free to link it here as a reply to the first comment.
    • In the subject line, state what language it is and try to describe what the resource does.
    • Links to resources go in the comment area.

  • No pimped out fonts or embedded videos are allowed. They will be deleted.

  • Just a note. If you do have phrases in other languages in your fills, it's only polite to include a translation in English at the bottom of your fill somewhere.

"kochanie" - "sweetheart", gender-neutral
"kochany" - male, "kochana" - female - "beloved"
"Słoneczko/słonko" - a diminutive of "sun", gender neutral
"misiaczek/miś" - "teddy-bear", but this one is tricky; when speaking to someone and calling them that, it would be like "misiaczku/misiu, are you alright?", but talking about someone would be "my misiaczek/miś could punch you through a wall, bitch".

I love you - "kocham cię"

walnuts - "orzechy włoskie"

Feel it - "poczuj to", if you mean something like "FEEL THE POWER"

"Widzisz?" - singular, "widzicie?" - plural

...I'm sorry, I can't come up with anything badass :X do you have some ideas?

I hope I helped :)

Feel it - "poczuj to", if you mean something like "FEEL THE POWER"

I don't know if it's the same, but literally Poland is saying 'Feel the baby' or 'feel my stomach' because well.... he's pregnant So yeah, it's like 'feel it' (the baby).

Also, how would you say 'my' (all those endearments). Is it the same for each? Like, my sun, my sweetheart etc

Does it make sense to say 'I want orzechy włoskie'?

I was thinking for Poland's nickname for Prussia, something like an affectionate version of 'idiot' or 'moron' or 'nutcase', if such a thing exists in Polish. Or something to do with Prussia's ego, but it's all in good fun/affectionate.

Yes you helped a lot! lol thank you so much~!

If I can say something...

In Polish when talking about feeling a baby/stomach, more natural is "Dotknij brzucha"('Touch the stomach') then "Poczuj dziecko"('Feel the baby').

Well, that's all I want to say... *runs*

What Gimladen said about the baby!

"My" - "mój" for miś and kochany; "moje" for słonko and kochanie.

Yep, it does :)

I'll tyr to come up with something... There are many insults, but not many affectionate ones. XD

Thank you so much!

It's ok, if affectionate insults aren't that common, I'll go with something like 'little bird' for Prussia, since he's as cool as one lol

lololol better not, "bird" totally means "penis"

How about loose variations of sweet idiot? Connect column A with column B! :D

Kochany/słodki kretyn, idiota, palant, bałwan, baran, przygłup?

D:

Is that how like pussy can mean cat or vagina? D: Why are languages like that lol

Wait, so how would I use that?

Is sweet kochany/słodki and then idiot etc is idiota, palant etc

So it would be like... kochany kretyn, słodki idiota, kochany palant, kochany baran, słodki przygłup, kochany bałwan etc... or am I really mixing this up? lol
