Following Italy's surrender in WW2, the brothers don't expect to be easily let off the hook. This prompt can be written a number of ways, since OP is fine with multiple takes.
- A darker approach could be the Allies abusing the Italies physically or sexually, though OP would prefer no extreme violence. The Allies are angry but they aren't evil, and whatever they do should be justified in their heads.
- A lighthearted approach could be the Italies EXPECTING to be abused, and freaking out. The Allies are puzzled by their nervous behavior, because at worst their punishment was only going to be something menial, like cleaning out the toilets.
- A twisted approach, where one half of Italy is treated better than the other (with or without the knowledge of his brother). This doesn't necessarily mean Veneziano is the better treated half. OP is just as fine with seeing Romano stuck on cleaning duties while Veneziano is treated worse, and it would also be a surprisingly dark twist.
Sorry for the elaborate request, but OP is fine with the A!A going wild with one of these ideas or come up with their own, as long as it involves the Italies under Allied control during WW2.
