“You what?”

Arthur was glaring harshly at him, clenching the volleyball hard in his hands. Alfred just stared at him back.

“I did it because I have to, okay? It’s not like I wish it’ll turn that way, jeez,” Alfred frowned, stretching his arms forward and backward a few times. “Don’t worry, I didn’t mention you or another girl, so no need to worry or be jealous.”

“Who’s jealous?!” Arthur threw the ball towards him, which flew past Alfred when he was leaning forward. “Stupid git!” The ball hit the other student instead, which threw a string of insults as soon as he stood up.

“Come on, don’t be mad,” Alfred said, smoothly catching the ball that was thrown back to him and passed it to Arthur. “I was thinking about asking Sey to pretend to be my girlfriend. You still remember her, right?”

Arthur returned the ball to Alfred with another pass as he thought about it. Yes, Sey; the small, beautiful girl whose mother was African was their neighbour before Arthur and Alfred both moved to Heta High’s school dormitory. She enrolled at a different high school, but they still met whether both of them went home for vacations. Because of that, unfortunately, she was the one who first discovered about Alfred and Arthur’s relationship – when they were making out in the garage, from all places.

She didn’t receive the news well at first – she freaked out, and refused to look them in the eyes for more than two months – but after that, she eventually started to befriend them again, and sometimes, like friends did, tease them about their relationship to no end.

Still, to ask Sey something so big like that – it’s not like Arthur had a problem with it; she already knew that both of them were gay – it made Arthur a little bit uneasy. He knew that Alfred loved him so much and wouldn’t betray him, but Sey was fairly attractive, with the chocolate, natural tanned skin and beautiful eyes that glowed like pearls.

Oh, no, Arthur wasn’t going to accept that.

“When will you bring her to meet your,” Arthur cringed before continuing, “friends?”

“Next Saturday,” Alfred answered. They ended this week on Thursday, and Alfred and Arthur were planning to go home and meet their families before coming back on Saturday. “They knew I’m going to go home this week, so they demanded. I’ll give Sey a call later tonight.”

Arthur scrunched his eyebrows. He still didn’t want Alfred to have a date with someone else, although it was Sey. He was still deep in thought, not hearing Alfred’s voice calling for his name when suddenly his head was struck with something hard.

And then everything was dark.

(........uh. I’m sorry. That’s all I can offer. OTL)
