You're right, I did overreact and I'm sorry for that. I'm just getting very tired of the ship wars and pairing and character bashing going on in this fandom. It's created a hostile, unpleasant atmosphere and Hetalia fandom's reputation was bad enough already.

It's one thing to say "No Canada, please; I don't care for that pairing." It's OK to not want your prompt to be filled with a paring you don't like. It's another to imply that other people should stop writing it at all and that's what really annoyed me.

But yeah, I would like to see more love for America with characters he usually isn't paired with. I'd love to see Thailand or Austria myself (Although Sweden would be really hot, too!)
