i'm really glad that you're able to handle this prompt so delicately, and that you're writing your own beliefs. it's really great so far and i like the slow pace of the story because everything is explored to make the readers understand more. i also love how you didn't make Spain perfect, which happens very often in Spain/Romano fics in general. he loses his temper, he said things that contributed to Romano's homophobia, he says the wrong things...he's not just some eternally patient and understanding pushover. it makes him, as well as the dynamic between him and Romano, more realistic.

the fic will be "slow, tough, and hopefully satisfactory for both them in the end". honestly, i wouldn't want it any other way.
