I really hope it ends up being A, because I am dying to see how this all turns out. You obviously aren't taking this subject lightly and from what you've said about your plans for the rest of the story, I don't think it'll get to a point where it's going in a terrible direction. You really sound like you know are trying to handle this subject in the best way possible, and so far I think you're doing a great job.
