Tomorrow I'm making gnocchi al ragù and that's definitive. (Also I don't know if you're Italian or not, but thank you for pointing out all the spaghetti with meatballs/microwaved maccheroni/fettuccine Alfredo nonsense. I cringe when I hear Americans describing what they think is good food - too much time with England indeed).
I love this pairing to pieces, too - it's almost as yummy as tagliatelle al ragù, and sweeter than those American cookies with the chocolate pieces (those are tasty!) and d'awww d'awww d'awwww. <3 I love your Italy, too!
