I've just read this from the beginnng and I have to say that I'm so glad someone's finally writing a Spain/England fic where they don't hate each other! In fact, I'm just glad for any fic that acknowledges the fact that in the present day, England and Spain have pretty good relations! Or, at least, I know that on the English side of things we all fangasm over Spain XD And I'd like to think that our love was requited (just as long as no one mentions Gibralter XD). So yeah, I'm loving the fact that they get on now and are all cute together~ Because the scene where England did Spain's tie properly and then they got lost in their own little world was so adorable~ <33
I do hope that you're going to keep the focus on Spain/England scenes because although I really enjoyed the two other parts (you have America and Romano down pat), I need Spain/England cuteness like I need to breathe! I do, however, like seeing the reactions of the other two - America was especially cute, I thought, since it seemed like he felt he was being replaced as England has Spain to hang out with and to look out for him now.
One thing I feel the need to point out to you, though, is that you have quite a few random tense changes going on. Most of the fill is in the past tense, but every now and then there'll be a word or even a couple of sentences in the present tense before it switches back. Just a heads up!
Also, I have to ask because every fibre of my being is crying out in ignorance: what in God's name is gelato? This English!anon has seen this word a couple of times recently and feels as if she's being separated by a common language
