And it does come. Slowly at first, but then more and more and soon Matthew is nearly as comfortable in this body as she was in her old one. Though Arthur swears up and down he is scouring every magical text and grimoire he owns, there has been no whisper of a cause, or a cure. For Matthew’s part there is still the odd moment of adjustment now and then, but by the tine the November world conference comes around, the artic nation feels comfortable enough to end her self imposed isolation and rejoin her fellow nations. Surprisingly, Matthew is not overly anxious about meeting her fellow peers for the first time in four months, certain that her normal inability to be seen and heard will render the whole thing relatively painless. Why, she’d probably get through the whole conference with most people being none the wiser!
