THIS, so much, my headcanon for France 100%. I always beliebed he wasn't a lech. He genuinely believes in his feelings and what he tells people he feels, it's just that being the nation of love, they change like the sea. Another thing I believe is that he never stops loving them, and can fall in love again and again with the same person any number of times.

I love the relationship between England and France. I noticed how the humour is closer to that of the original strips, making fun of France's seducing lines and technics, and England's fear of Russia and penchant for hiding in the bushes. And England's so tsundere, but it's applied to friendship, which is odd. And refreshing. I don't think I'll be letting go of the new headcanon fact: that England and France regularly eat together for the thrill of snark and the shameless gossiping. They are such a pair of old womenXDXDXD
