Summery: America has been captured by Japan's Spirits and taken to their world, because they believe it is Alfred's fault that Kiku has forgotten them. Not only that but Alfred has lost all of his memories, he has forgotten who he is and is being forced to be the witch Yubaba's servant. At the same time Kiku must travel through spirit world to spirit world, over coming mythic challenges in journey to find Alfred and rescue them both. However the cost of Kiku's passage from world to world is his very own memories. If Kiku ever reaches his spirit world will he even remember Alfred when he sees him? Will true love triumph or fail? How will the human world and the nations cope with the disappearance of two important nations?
